NAAAP Baltimore Celebrates Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month
NAAAP Baltimore is celebrating Asian Pacific Islander Heritage Month throughout the month of May. Our NAAAP network celebrates heritage across the United States and Canada in many ways. This year the Baltimore Chapter is supporting local API-founded or centered community organizations, elevating API-owned businesses, promoting self-care and wellness, recognizing local history, and building community within our membership.
About Asia North - Learn More
Asia North celebrates the arts and Asian culture that are defining characteristics of Baltimore’s Charles North neighborhood, part of the Station North Arts and Entertainment District.
Inaugurated in spring 2019, Asia North is a collaborative community celebration that recognizes, showcases, and honors the art, culture and Asian heritage of Greater Baltimore, especially the Korean history of Baltimore’s Charles North community.
The Asian Arts & Culture Center co-produces events with the Central Baltimore Partnership and multiple community partners. Area artists and organizations present exhibits, performances, films, and more. In spring 2020, the programs expanded to online formats.
About NAAAP Baltimore Second Thursdays
The Second Thursdays program celebrates local businesses owned by Asian and Pacific Islander Americans, especially restaurants, as anchors of the APIA community in the region. Every month we bring together APIA professionals to socialize, hear from local leaders, and learn about upcoming events and opportunities.
This event is open to members and non-members of NAAAP Baltimore. Additional information about in-person gatherings will be shared with registered guests.
