Join us for a guided hike, birding, and picnic outing at Solider’s Delight nature preserve, a unique ecosystem in Maryland! No birding experience necessary, and binoculars are suggested but not required!

The main trail is the Serpentine trail, 2.3 miles--It is not paved and takes about an hour for the whole trail

Afterwards, we’ll be gathering for a BBQ and freshly grilled food at a member’s backyard less than a mile away. Address to be disclosed at the event!

Well-behaved dogs are welcome on the hike, however we ask that you please leave your furry friend at home if you are planning on attending the BBQ afterwards.
