NAAAP Baltimore is excited to host a 3-part series this fall to share experiences and insights as AAPI professionals. We will hear from a local leader and have table talk discussions focused on key topics that will help each of us grow in our careers. Each of us has a story to share, and through these discussions and networking opportunities, we will gain critical lessons and connections that will unlock our unlimited potential.

November 11 - Evolve Up in Your Career

 MEET JENNIE JANSSEN

Jennie Janssen is an experienced aquarist at the National Aquarium, Baltimore. She has previously worked at the Tennessee Aquarium, Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies, and the Georgia Aquarium. With recognition from prestigious awards, including being named among the Top 10 of the Blooloop 50 Zoo & Aquarium Influencer List in 2022, Jennie also co-founded Minorities in Aquarium and Zoo Science, a nonprofit that aims to diversify the people and perspectives within these fields.

ABOUT THE VIRTUAL SPACE

We will use Kumospace - a virtual meeting platform for this event. We highly recommend participants join the event during networking to become familiar with the platform and test their video and audio settings.
